లెక్కకు మించిన అభ్యర్ధనల కారణంగా, దరఖాస్తులకై పోస్టుకార్డ్లు అందవలసినతేదీ మే 21 2012 ననే ముగుస్తున్నది. ఆ తర్వాత వచ్చిన పోస్టుకార్డులకు దరఖాస్తులు పంపడం గాని, జవాబు వ్రాయడం గాని సాధ్యం కాదు.

గ్రామీణ జిల్లాపరిషత్ ఉన్నత పాఠశాలల్లోని 6,7,8 తరగతుల విద్యార్ధులకు 1000 వరకు ‘తెల్సా’ సంస్థ ఉచిత సైకిళ్ళ పథకం.

TELSA exceeds its target of 1000 free bicycles to poor rural students

We have received 138 applications from Zilla Parishat High Schools in villages and have processed 136 of them granting 1413 bicycles to deserving students. Funds have been sent to India and reports of distribution from schools and newspapers have begun to come in. We expect completion of distribution by all schools by the year-end. We have exceeded the limit of 1000 announced by us in order to accommodate as large a number of students recommended by the staff of the various schools as possible . We could not, however, satisfy the total demanded by the schools and would appreciate if our readers can pick up the slack.:

We have completed another day of the walkathon. Making amends for Google’s failure to indicate some streets as closed, the total distance walked by us on the 7th day exceeded the 12.5 miles set for it.

So far, several of us who did not miss a single day have walked 102 miles each. The whole team has walked close to a thousand miles. Only another day remains in the walkathon.

To kick off its fourth annual series of M.A.R.Ch. awareness and fundraiser walkathons TELSA is arranging a 105 mile walk from Claremont to San Diego. Our concept presentation video on planned development of India’s villages will be screened followed by a discussion and dinner on the last day of the walkathon on April 9th 2011.
